Steve Robinson Based in Cliffe, North Yorkshire - Steve is a Company Director involved in IT solutions for the food, chemicals and metals sectors through Drive Computer Services Ltd. After a very brief appearance in XR3 Challenge in the mid 90's Steve has had a long history of sprint & hill climb competition and was Competition Secretary and PR Secretary of the Westfield Sports Car Club - and remains a Life Member. Since 2005 Steve has been a member of 750MC and in 2008 took up the position of role of Formula Official for The AB Performance RGB Championship.

His original Westfield started life as a pinto based roadcar and was developed, with the help of Plays Kool Motorsport into a slick shod all out sprinter; running a normally aspirated Cosworth YB. The car was shared for a period with son Jamie and later son in law Chris Parry - the trophy cabinet is full of class wins and podium results from sprint & hill climb venues all around the UK.

After a couple of seasons supporting both Jamie in the 750MC Locost Championship and running the Westfield a change to a single focus on the 750MC RGB Championship was embarked upon in 2006 with a Genesis. Purchased as a rolling chassis the car was rebuilt during early 2006, once again with the support of Plays Kool Motorsport. Supported by Ade Terry the team came 3rd in Class A and 5th Overall Championship in 2007.

Jamie Robinson (son), A graduate of Engineering from Nottingham University - Jamie currently manages the motorsport activities of Ginetta Cars, part of the well respected LNT Group.

Whilst at Uni Jamie managed and competed in the Karting team and was a well known character in BUKC. At 16 Jamie started competing in Dad's Westfield and inevitably went faster than the old man, leading to a step into Locost which resulted in Championship 3rd Overall in 2005 and some memorable racing, including a double header/double win at Brands Hatch that year.

After leaving Uni Jamie extended his driving credentials by achieving his Instructors License and worked part time at Croft circuit and with TVR and WSCC Clubs on track and corporate events. A one off entry in the Radical Championship at Cadwell Park (many thanks to Ian for lending his car) saw a fifth place finish and affirmed his natural abilities.

Since joining LNT Jamie has had exposure in works cars in the Ginetta G20 Championship and in late 2007 campaigned Dad's Genesis at a Powernights event, coming second after starting last on the grid with a 55 second time penalty imposed as part of the race handicapping system. 2008 should see Jamie competing overseas and on home soil in a variety of machinery including the new Ginetta G50 in The Avon Tyres British GT Championship.

Plays Kool Motorsport (PKM) - is based in Bradford and for some time was a commercial kit and race car preparation team. In 2006 the operations were scaled down to service the team's own club racing activities. Robinson Racing and PKM 'play together'!

The PKM team comprises two sets of brothers: Paul 'Virgil' Aspden - front man and highly experienced Striker pilot with many sprint & hill climb achievements. 'Dangerous' Dave Aspden - lifelong motor and electronics engineer, well known and respected in the 750MC Kit Car Championship for many years and soon to be campaigning the first Ford powered Riot in 2008. Ade Terry - along with brother Andy, 2001 British rally Champions in their self prepared Nova. They have since competed in 750MC RGB with his famous all carbon bodied Striker and is expecting to make a return to competitive driving in 2008. Andy 'Sid' Terry - the bravest of them all - a rally Navigator. Andy can make anything out of aluminium and is the team IT/camera/datalogger expert. In addition daughter Caroline, currently studying at Leeds Uni is a keen Karting competitor - who knows what next?

Not forgetting the supporters - Wife Jane (& occasional dogs!) and daughter Charlotte! Who are both more into sitting in Britney (the Motorhome) drinking tea and gossiping over the latest Grazia magazine than really watching the racing!
